Our Story
Sweetening Rahim Yar Khan since 1984

A legacy that began in 1984 and continues with the next generation.
A Legacy Born Through Hardship, Sustained by Faith.
Every legacy has a beginning.
Some begin with wealth. Some with opportunity. And some begin with nothing but faith, courage, and the determination to keep going.
For Al Mehran Sweet Mart, that beginning was 1984.
Two young brothers, Haji Muhammad Akram and Haji Abdul Razaq, stepped into life with very little in their hands. They did not inherit a thriving business. They did not have a strong financial foundation waiting for them. And they did not have the comfort of a father standing behind them.
They were young orphans.
Life had already taught them, at an early age, that survival sometimes means doing whatever honest work is available.
There were difficult days and uncertain tomorrows. They worked wherever they could, accepted whatever honest work was available, and learned through hardship. There were even days when washing dishes was the work that put food on the table.
They did not consider any honest work beneath them.
Because when you have responsibilities on your shoulders and very little in your hands, you learn something that comfort can never teach:
You learn how to keep moving.
They struggled. They faced uncertainty. They experienced days when things went well and days when everything seemed harder than before.
Their journey was never a straight road from hardship to success.
It had urooj and zawaal.
There were seasons of growth and seasons of difficulty. Moments of relief and moments that demanded patience. Times when the future looked clear and times when they could only take one step at a time.
Because that is how life is — urooj aur zawaal zindagi ka hissa hain.
The real story is not that they never faced hardship.
The real story is that they continued despite it.
Their strength came from a simple belief: if the intention is honest, the effort is sincere, and the heart places its trust in Allah, then even the smallest beginning can lead somewhere meaningful.
They worked with what they had.
They remained patient with what they could not control.
And they trusted Allah with what came next.
That faith became the foundation of Al Mehran Sweet Mart.
From a Small Shop to Generations of Memories
In 1984, Al Mehran began as a small sweet shop.
There was no grand beginning. Just two brothers, honest work, limited resources, and a dream to build something better for themselves and the family that would come after them.
Slowly, patiently, year after year, they built.
The shop became known in Rahim Yar Khan. Customers became families. Families became generations.
And mithai became part of their happiest moments.
Weddings. Eid. Birthdays. New beginnings. Congratulations. Family gatherings. Guests arriving home. Children growing up. And countless ordinary days made special by the simple act of sharing something sweet.
Because somewhere along the way, we understood something bigger:
Mithai is never just mithai.
It carries emotion.
It carries celebration.
It carries relationships.
Sometimes a box of mithai says Mubarak ho.
Sometimes it says Welcome home.
Sometimes it says We are happy for you.
And sometimes it simply says:
Let us share this happiness together.
The People May Leave. The Values Remain.
Today, the two men who began this journey are no longer with us.
Their voices may no longer be heard inside the shop. Their hands may no longer prepare the next box. But the values they lived by continue.
Because a legacy is not measured only by what a person leaves behind.
It is measured by what continues because of them.
The shop continued.
The family continued.
The work continued.
And the dream continued to grow.
What began with a small sweet shop eventually became part of a wider family journey, leading to new businesses and ventures including Al Mehran Restaurant, Nayi Manzil LLC, Khamaaj Jewels, House of Mehak, and others.
But despite everything that changed, one thing remained:
The belief that something meaningful can be built from very little when faith, honesty, patience, and hard work come together.
Life Has Its Seasons
Our story is not a story of success without struggle.
It is a story of struggle, patience, growth, loss, gratitude, and continuation.
Life has seasons.
There is urooj, when everything seems to rise.
And there is zawaal, when things become difficult and the road becomes uncertain.
Neither defines the whole journey.
Success teaches gratitude.
Hardship teaches patience.
Loss teaches us what truly matters.
And time teaches us that every chapter eventually becomes part of a bigger story.
The brothers who started Al Mehran understood this through experience. They did not have everything.
But they made the most of what they had.
And they trusted Allah with what was beyond them.
Start with what you have. Work with what you have. Trust Allah with what comes next.
That is not simply a quote for us.
It is the lesson at the heart of our story.
1984 — And the Story Continues.
More than four decades later, Al Mehran is entering a new chapter.
The world has changed. The way people discover businesses has changed. Technology has changed. The way families shop has changed.
But some things should never have to change:
The value of honest work.
The importance of family.
The joy of sharing.
The respect for tradition.
And the faith that tomorrow can be better than today.
So as we take Al Mehran into a new generation, we are not leaving our past behind.
We are carrying it forward.
From the hands of two brothers in 1984 to the hands of a new generation today.
From a small storefront to a digital experience.
From one family to generations of families who have made Al Mehran part of their celebrations.
This is not the story of a business that had an easy beginning.
This is the story of two brothers who had very little — but refused to let that become the limit of what they could build.
They faced hardship.
They experienced urooj and zawaal.
They worked.
They endured.
They prayed.
They trusted Allah.
And they kept going.
And perhaps that is the greatest part of their legacy:
Not that they built something big, but that they proved something meaningful can begin very small.
Next Gen. Same Tradition. A New Experience.
1984 — and the story continues.
